The architectural concept for 5861 GULF was influenced by Tropical Modernism, predominantly found in Balinese, Hawaiian and Indonesian culture.
Comprised of four main components, the home is creatively connected to allow for a resort-style guest experience: main living, guest house, attached bedroom wing, and owners level.
The architectural influences from Tropical Modernism, guided the design towards clean lines, natural materials, rigged textures and placed an emphasis on breezes, natural light and high connectivity with the surroundings.
Balanced relations of positive and negative space between the open courtyard and the building's components, drive a dynamic
connection of privacy and oceanic views.
5861 GULF is a contemporary home that exudes a zen-inspired calmness in a tropical jungle, located in Longboat Key, FL.
